NCT ID NCT06208631

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests if people with knee osteoarthritis can learn to change how they use a calf muscle while walking, using a device that gives a buzz or vibration as feedback. The goal is to reduce the force on the knee joint, which may ease pain and slow joint damage. About 31 participants will practice walking with feedback on a treadmill or over ground. The study will use motion sensors and computer models to measure changes in knee loading.
