Scientists probe why knee arthritis treatments fail
NCT ID NCT07481461
Summary
This study aims to understand why some treatments for knee osteoarthritis (OA) fail over time. Researchers will observe 30 patients with knee misalignment who are scheduled for either a surgical realignment procedure or a non-surgical brace. They will use advanced scans and computer models to see how these treatments change the bone structure and cartilage in the knee over two years.
