First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study aims to find biological markers in blood and joint fluid that can predict how knee osteoarthritis will progress and whether treatments like steroid injections will work. Researchers will follow 200 people with knee osteoarthritis and 100 with other inflammatory joint conditions for up to 10 years, collecting samples and tracking symptoms and X-ray changes. The goal is to better understand the disease and improve personalized treatment decisions.
