First seen Dec 04, 2025 · Last updated Apr 13, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study aims to see if a combination injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and hyaluronic acid works better than either injection alone for knee osteoarthritis. It will involve 288 adults with knee pain who haven't gotten enough relief from standard treatments. Participants will receive one type of injection and be followed for two years to measure changes in pain, stiffness, and daily function.
