Placenta-Based injection could ease arthritic knee pain

NCT ID NCT06704893

Summary

This study is testing whether an injection made from donated amniotic fluid can reduce pain and improve function in people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will compare this new injection against two others: a standard hyaluronic acid injection and a simple saline (saltwater) placebo. The goal is to see if the amniotic fluid treatment works better for pain relief and quality of life over a year.
