One-Shot collagen jab tested for Worn-Out knees

NCT ID NCT04998188

Summary

This study is testing whether a single injection of a collagen solution into the knee joint works better than a placebo (saltwater) injection to ease pain and improve function in people with knee osteoarthritis. It will involve 204 participants whose symptoms haven't improved with standard treatments. Researchers will compare pain levels, stiffness, and daily activity over 6 months to see if the collagen treatment provides more relief.
