Your own cells to fight knee arthritis? new trial investigates

NCT ID NCT05517434

Summary

This trial is testing whether injections made from a patient's own bone marrow or processed fat tissue can help control knee osteoarthritis better than a placebo injection. About 148 adults with moderate knee pain and arthritis will receive one of the two experimental treatments or a placebo saline shot. The main goal is to see if these cell-based injections significantly reduce pain and improve daily function after six months.
