Scientists test Hormone's role in metabolism

NCT ID NCT04958109

Summary

This study aimed to understand how a hormone called kisspeptin affects how the body processes sugar. Sixteen healthy adults received an infusion of kisspeptin and then drank a sugary solution to test their body's response. The goal was to gather basic knowledge about this hormone's role in metabolism, not to treat a disease.
