First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This Phase 3 trial tests whether Kinisoquin™, a supplement-like drug made from isoquercetin plus vitamins C and B3, can prevent dangerous blood clots in 480 people with advanced pancreatic cancer. Participants receive either Kinisoquin™ or a placebo alongside their first chemotherapy. The study tracks clot events over 16 weeks to see if the drug reduces risk.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Kinisoquin™ (isoquercetin with vitamin C and vitamin B3)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a new way to prevent life-threatening blood clots in people with advanced pancreatic cancer, potentially improving survival and quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is a large Phase 3 trial, but the drug may not reduce clot risk more than placebo. Side effects or interactions with chemotherapy are possible. Results may not apply to all patients.
