First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing a new oral nutritional supplement for children aged 1 to 15 who need extra nutrition due to illness. Researchers want to see if the drink is easy to take, tastes good, and is gentle on the stomach. The study involves 25 children and will track any stomach issues and how much of the drink they consume.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- oral nutritional supplement containing food blends
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could provide a better-tolerated option for children who need extra nutrition due to illness.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early-stage study with only 25 children, so results may not apply to everyone. The supplement might still cause stomach issues in some kids.
