Summary
This study tests a program called Kids' Empowerment Program (KEP) in schools to help children ages 6 to 12 reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. About 120 children will participate, with some starting the program right away and others later. Researchers will compare parent and child reports of mood and coping skills over 12 weeks to see if the program helps children manage emotional challenges.
