First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at a new way to monitor kidney transplant health by measuring kidney-specific DNA in the blood. Researchers will test 30 adults with end-stage kidney failure before and after their transplant surgery. The goal is to tell the difference between DNA from the patient's own failing kidneys and DNA from the new donated kidney, which could help detect rejection earlier.
