Spain leads in kidney transplants, but are all patients treated equally?

NCT ID NCT07208994

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at why some people with chronic kidney disease in Spain may not have the same chance to get a kidney transplant. Researchers will review past studies, survey 3,000 patients and doctors, and test a training program to find and fix these unfair differences. The goal is to make sure everyone who needs a transplant has a fair shot, regardless of age, gender, income, or where they live.
