Trial aims to make kidney stone recovery less painful
NCT ID NCT06458101
Summary
This study tested whether patients could safely avoid having a urinary catheter placed after a common kidney stone removal surgery. Researchers compared pain and urinary urgency in 180 patients who either had a catheter or did not. The goal was to see if skipping the catheter could lead to a more comfortable recovery without increasing risks.
