Doctors test three ways to zap kidney stones
NCT ID NCT07289230
Summary
This study compared three different ways of performing a minimally invasive surgery to remove kidney stones that are 2 centimeters or smaller. Ninety adult patients with a single stone were randomly assigned to have surgery using one of three different tools: a traditional tube, a tube with suction, or no tube at all. Researchers wanted to see which method worked best to clear the stones completely, took the least time, and had the fewest complications.
