Doctors test best way to remove tough kidney stones in kids
NCT ID NCT07345234
Summary
This study compared two different surgical methods for removing dense kidney stones in children aged 6 to 12. Researchers tested whether a procedure called mini PCNL or a procedure called FURS was better at completely removing the stones. They measured which surgery had fewer complications, shorter hospital stays, and higher success rates one month after the operation.
