NCT ID NCT05717842

First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at how well a person's own kidneys recover after receiving a combined liver and kidney transplant. Researchers will follow 15 adults with kidney problems who are already listed for this surgery. They use special scans and blood tests to measure kidney function, hoping to create a way to predict which patients might recover enough to avoid a permanent kidney transplant.
