Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive light sensor (NIRS) placed on the skin can detect low oxygen levels in the kidneys during lung transplant surgery. The goal is to see if these readings can predict which patients will develop acute kidney failure shortly after the operation. The study will enroll 80 adults undergoing lung transplant and follow them for five days after surgery.
