Scientists test how kidneys handle cancer drug
NCT ID NCT05469100
Summary
This study aimed to understand how kidney problems affect the way the body processes a cancer drug called LOXO-292 (selpercatinib). Researchers compared a single dose of the drug in 37 people with varying levels of kidney function to healthy volunteers. The goal was to gather data to help doctors safely dose this medication for future cancer patients who also have kidney issues.
