New hope for controlling tough high blood pressure in kidney patients
NCT ID NCT03574363
Summary
This study tested whether a new drug called KBP-5074 could safely lower high blood pressure in people who also have moderate-to-severe chronic kidney disease. About 162 participants were randomly assigned to receive either one of two doses of the drug or a placebo pill for 84 days. The main goal was to see if the drug could lower blood pressure more effectively than the placebo.
