New weekly shot aims to slow kidney damage
NCT ID NCT07206290
Summary
This study is testing if a weekly injection called survodutide can help protect the kidneys in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD). It will involve 120 adults with CKD who have high levels of protein in their urine, a sign of kidney damage. The main goal is to see if the treatment leads to a meaningful and lasting reduction in this urine protein over 36 weeks.
