Simple urine test could predict cancer drug success

NCT ID NCT07406646

Summary

This study looked for early signs in blood and urine that could predict whether advanced kidney cancer treatments are working. Researchers followed 91 patients receiving immunotherapy or targeted drugs, collecting samples during the first 16 weeks of treatment. They compared tiny genetic markers in these samples with standard scan results to see if the markers could forecast treatment response sooner.
