Scientists map hidden worlds inside tumors to crack Cancer's code

NCT ID NCT07351266

Summary

This study aims to understand why kidney cancer tumors can have different regions, or 'nodules,' and how these differences might lead to drug resistance. Researchers will analyze tumor samples from 10 patients using advanced lab techniques to create detailed genetic maps and test drug responses on tiny 3D tumor models grown in the lab. The goal is to learn more about how this cancer grows and spreads to help guide future treatments.
