New drug cocktails aim to shrink tumors before kidney cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT05148546

Summary

This study is testing three different combinations of immunotherapy drugs given to patients before surgery for intermediate-to-high-risk kidney cancer. The goal is to see which drug combination best shrinks the tumor and reduces the chance of the cancer coming back after surgery. About 69 patients will receive one of the three drug regimens for a few weeks before their planned operation.
