NCT ID NCT05700461

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a tiny, implantable device to see if it can safely help doctors figure out which cancer drugs work best for an individual's kidney tumor. The device, placed into a tumor before surgery, releases tiny amounts of 19 different drugs already used to treat cancer. After a few days, the device and a small piece of surrounding tissue are removed during the patient's planned surgery and analyzed to see how the tumor cells reacted to each drug.
