Summary

This study is testing if taking the drug cabozantinib for 12 weeks before surgery can shrink advanced kidney tumors that have not spread. The goal is to see if this pre-surgery treatment helps control the cancer and makes surgery more effective. Researchers will measure tumor shrinkage, track side effects, and monitor patients' recovery and quality of life.
