New drug cocktail shows promise for blood cancer patients

Summary
This study tests a new three-drug combination (carfilzomib, iberdomide, and dexamethasone, or KID) in people newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma who are eligible for a stem cell transplant. The goal is to see if this combination is safe and effective at reducing or eliminating cancer before transplant. About 66 participants will take part across multiple hospitals.
