New Pain-Blocking trick tested in leg surgeries

NCT ID NCT05543785

Summary

This study is testing a new way to give a common pain medicine (ketorolac) during leg surgeries to see if it makes pain relief last longer after the operation. Doctors will give the medicine directly into the blood of the numbed leg during surgery. They will compare this method to the standard way of giving the medicine to see which one helps patients need less pain medication later.
