Ketone drink tested for breathing benefits
NCT ID NCT07220122
Summary
This study aims to understand if a drink containing ketones (Ketone IQ) changes how healthy people breathe, especially their response to high carbon dioxide levels. Twenty healthy volunteers will drink either the ketone supplement or a placebo on two separate visits, and researchers will measure their breathing patterns. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about whether ketones could one day help with conditions like sleep apnea or breathing at high altitudes.
