Summary

This study tested whether a ketone ester drink could change how the brain uses energy and improve thinking skills. It involved 99 adults aged 55 and older who had metabolic syndrome but normal memory. Participants drank either the ketone supplement or a placebo three times a day for 28 days while researchers used brain scans and memory tests to measure effects.
