Could a simple drink help heart failure patients breathe easier during exercise?
NCT ID NCT06195982
Summary
This study is testing whether a ketone drink can help people with heart failure exercise longer and feel less tired and short of breath. Researchers will give the drink to 25 participants with reduced heart pumping ability and measure how it affects their exercise capacity and heart function. The drink is considered generally safe by the FDA but is being tested experimentally for this specific use.
