Summary
This study looked at whether a ketogenic or modified Atkins diet can improve brain function and recovery in people with moderate to severe traumatic brain injury. Twenty-one adults who were recently injured took part. The goal was to see if changing the brain's fuel source could help with thinking and daily living skills over six months.
