Can a High-Fat diet help fight cancer in the brain?

NCT ID NCT05428852

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a ketogenic diet (very low in carbs, high in fat) can help improve treatment outcomes for people with brain metastases when combined with standard radiation therapy. It compares the ketogenic diet to a standard cancer diet over 16 weeks in 24 participants. The main goals are to see if patients can stick to the diet and to measure early effects on tumor response and quality of life.
