First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This pilot study looks at whether a ketogenic (low-carb, high-fat) diet is practical and beneficial for 24 adults with brain metastases who are scheduled for radiosurgery. Participants will follow either a ketogenic or standard healthy diet for 16 weeks. Researchers will track diet adherence, blood markers, and quality of life to see if the diet can ease symptoms and improve well-being during treatment.
