Psychedelic therapy tested on traumatized teens

NCT ID NCT06378528

Summary

This small, early-stage study is checking if a treatment combining the medicine ketamine with talk therapy is safe and workable for teenagers with severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It will involve a few teens aged 15-17 receiving three ketamine sessions with therapy support over six weeks. The main goal is to see if the process is tolerable and to look for early signs it might help reduce PTSD symptoms.
