First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looks at how a single dose of ketamine affects brain pressure and oxygen levels in 10 adults with severe traumatic brain injury. Researchers want to see if ketamine, a drug that provides sedation and pain relief, is safe and helpful for these patients. Participants must already have monitors in place to measure brain pressure and oxygen. The goal is to gather early data, not to provide a treatment.
