First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding psychotherapy (a type of talk therapy) to ketamine treatment can help people with long-term nerve pain feel better for longer. Thirty adults with chronic neuropathic pain were split into three groups: ketamine alone, psychotherapy alone, or both together. The main goal was to see if this approach is practical and safe, and to gather early data on pain relief.
