Gallbladder surgery pain relief: could a common anesthetic be the key?

NCT ID NCT07370181

Summary

This study is testing if adding the anesthetic ketamine to a standard pain-relief rinse can better control pain after gallbladder removal surgery. It will compare two groups of 30 patients each to see which rinse leads to less pain and lower use of strong opioid painkillers in the first 24 hours after surgery. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage post-surgery pain.
