Scientists track experimental Drug's journey through the body

NCT ID NCT04634812

Summary

This early-stage study aimed to understand how the body absorbs, breaks down, and eliminates the experimental drug KBP-5074. Seven healthy male volunteers received a single dose containing a tiny, safe amount of radioactive tracer to help track the drug. Researchers measured how much drug was absorbed, how long it stayed in the body, and what byproducts were created when the body processed it.
