First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at whether regular karate practice can improve the quality of life, self-esteem, and sleep of medical students. Many medical students experience anxiety and depression, and karate may be a simple, low-cost way to help. About 90 third- and fourth-year health students at the University of Angers will take part, and researchers will track changes in their well-being and exam rankings.
