Summary

This phase 3 trial tests whether giving a specific chemotherapy combination (mDCF) before standard chemoradiotherapy can improve outcomes for people with locally advanced anal cancer. About 310 adults with stage T3-4 or N1 anal cancer will be randomly assigned to either standard treatment or the experimental sequence. The main goal is to see if the new approach delays disease progression or death at two years.
