Scientists test where to inject new drug for best results
NCT ID NCT07044401
Summary
This study tested whether injecting an experimental drug called KAI-9531 in the upper arm or thigh works as well as injecting it in the abdomen. Researchers enrolled 51 healthy volunteers with different body weights to compare how much drug gets into the bloodstream from different injection sites. The goal was to understand if people could have more options for where to receive this medication.
