New drug aims to stop muscles from wasting away

Summary

This study tests a new drug called JUV-161 to see if it can prevent muscle loss in healthy adults aged 40 to 65 who have one leg immobilized for about 6 weeks. Participants will receive weekly injections of either the drug or a placebo. The study will measure muscle changes using MRI and blood tests to check safety and effectiveness.
