First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether adapted judo training plus nutritional counseling could improve physical fitness, body composition, and stability in children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). One hundred participants aged 7–14, with and without ASD, took part in 10 months of integrated judo sessions twice a week. Researchers measured fitness using the EUROFIT test, body composition via bioelectrical impedance, and postural stability with a force platform.
