Two doctors, one visit: new approach aims to tame tough asthma and sinus problems
NCT ID NCT07134686
Summary
This study is testing if seeing a lung doctor and an ear/nose/throat doctor together in one visit is better than seeing them separately for adults who have both asthma and chronic sinus problems with nasal polyps. The main goal is to see if this combined approach helps patients use fewer steroid pills over a year by creating a more personalized treatment plan. Researchers will compare the results of patients getting the joint consultation to those getting the usual separate visits.
