First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a traditional Chinese medicine called Jiedu Huayu oral prescription in 436 people who have had a brain bleed due to a condition called cerebral amyloid angiopathy. The goal is to see if the herbal treatment can lower the chance of having another stroke or blood vessel event. Participants will receive either the herbal medicine or a placebo for up to a year, and researchers will track any new vascular events and changes in thinking abilities.
