Summary

This study compares two ways of positioning the jaw during corrective surgery for a misaligned bite (bimaxillary orthognathic surgery). The goal is to see which technique leads to healthier natural reshaping of the jaw joint (condylar remodeling) after surgery. Adults aged 18 to 65 with a specific jaw deformity will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques. CT scans taken before, right after, and 6 months after surgery will measure changes in the joint's position and shape, along with clinical checks.
