Can arthritis patients take less medication? new trial aims to find out

NCT ID NCT07160231

Summary

This study is testing whether patients with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, or axial spondyloarthritis can safely reduce their JAK inhibitor medication doses while still keeping their disease under control. Researchers will compare 200 patients who gradually lower their medication against those who continue their regular dose, monitoring them for 12 months. The goal is to see if lower doses work as well while potentially reducing side effects and costs.
