First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special ultrasound placed inside the vein (IVUS) can better detect blockages than the standard X-ray method in people on dialysis. About 50 adults with kidney failure who have dialysis access problems will take part. The goal is to see if IVUS gives clearer details about the blockage, which could help doctors treat it more effectively.
