New drug shows promise in shrinking lung tumors before surgery

Summary

This study tests a new drug called ivonescimab, given before surgery for non-small cell lung cancer. It compares this drug to standard treatments to see if it better shrinks tumors and helps understand why it works. About 80 people with early-stage lung cancer will take part.
